The software elaborates the gathered image in order to compute the color of each pixel and performs an innovative quality control. Differently from traidtional spectrophotometers, TopScanColor analysie the whole image and executes PASS/FAIL elaboration for assessing how an imitation matches with the initial stadard image.

TopScanColor finds essential applications not only in the textile field but also in ceramics, plastics, packing, wood, and all the contexts where a quality control of extended and not-uniformly dyed surface is requested.

The concerned software allows the user to select specific Region-Of-Interest and execute quality control within these areas in terms of Chromatic and Geometrical difference.

An important application concerns the utilization of TopScanColor for acquiring the color palette of the modern ink-jet printers used in the digital printing field. TopScanColor is able to rapidly acquires the concerned palette and autonmatically extracts the reflectance spectra from each colored square in less than 2 minutes.
